Cassandra Szklarski of the Canadian Press reports on Global’s fall launch event, which ironically got more attention to a protest for more Canadian shows than to the actual Canadian shows:

“The broadcaster introduced a handful of new Canadian series as well, including the dark thriller Durham County sitcom About a Girl, Coast Guard series Search and Rescue and dramedy da Kink In My Hair, based on the award-winning play of the same name.”
