Corus’s kids fall lineup announced

From a media release:

YTV

The journey begins on YTV’s Saturday morning cartoon block, Crunch, where high-flying adventure is the order of business with the launch of the new animated YTV original production Storm Hawks. The series features five death-defying mismatched teens who fight villains in the sky on their flying motorcycles. With 52 half-hour episodes, Storm Hawks debuts with a one-hour special in its regular timeslot Saturday, September 8 at 10 a.m. Saturday mornings continue to be filled with free-flying adventure as a teenaged Superman defends the rights of all free worlds and upholds the laws of the newly formed United Planets in Legion of Superheroes beginning Saturday, September 8 at 11 a.m.

Take a trip to base camp as reality TV goes kid-friendly with the launch of the YTV original production The Adrenaline Project. In this new, edge-of-your-seat series, host Caz and trainer Boomer put five thrill-seeking teens to the test with rigorous physical and mental challenges in preparation for the ultimate extreme event. This new marblemedia (This Is Daniel Cook, This Is Emily Yeung) production is slated to join the fall schedule Saturday, September 29 at 7 p.m.

TREEHOUSE

A treehouse is a great place to go when you want to explore within your imagination and Corus’ Treehouse is no exception. This fall, kids can play with two furry heroes, Mouse and Rabbit – best friends through thick and thin in the Canadian animated series My Friend Rabbit. Based on Eric Rohmann’s award-winning book, this new 2-D series about caring, friendship and problem solving premieres this fall.

Peru? France? What’s it going to be? Treehouse brings backseat travelers Are We There Yet? – a series that shows the world from a kid’s perspective. Catch this original Canadian-produced series coming to Treehouse and Discovery Kids Canada, hosted by two sets of real-life brothers and sisters, Molly and Sam and Julian and Rosie. This first unscripted travel show for kids, hosted by kids, premieres on Treehouse Monday, September 3 at 7:55 p.m. and on Discovery Kids Saturday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m.
