Emily Yeung to air in Australia

From a media release:

This is Emily Yeung, the internationally successful children’s preschool series, is set to air in Australia joining the already popular This is Daniel Cook on the same network. The show’s producers have reached a deal with Australia’s national broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), adding to the list of nearly 80 countries where the show now airs.

ABC picked up 60 X 6 minute episodes of the show. Currently, Emily can be seen daily on Playhouse Disney in the U.S and Japan, and exclusively on Treehouse in Canada. Other countries airing the series include Japan, Korea, Mexico and Brazil.

“We are delighted that kids in Australia can now enjoy Emily’s adventures along with Daniel’s,” said Mark Bishop, Executive Producer and Partner of marblemedia. “The international success of the two series proves that the format appeals to children around the world.”

This is Emily Yeung is an educational, live-action, preschool series that captivates children by taking them on exciting adventures such as playing basketball with professional basketball players or swimming with dolphins. It is a co-production of Canadian producers marblemedia and Sinking Ship Entertainment. The series is sold and distributed by marblemedia Distribution, a division of marblemedia.
