• Anybody who thinks that Canadian comedy has run out of gas should check out the brilliant standups at the local yuk-fests
  “But without Corner Gas (count me among the fans, although I’ve been a fan of Brent Butt, a fellow prairie boy, practically from the day he fell off the turnip truck from Saskatchewan) and Air Farce, what have we left? There’s still This Hour, which isn’t what it used to be, Trailer Park Boys, which is still funny as hell. There are also re-runs of History Bites — in my opinion the funniest and smartest Canadian show ever — on the Comedy Network in the mornings.” Read more.
