“Growing up in Texas and Louisiana means two things: barbecue and football. So I guess it’s no surprise I’m crazy for both,” say host Matt Dunigan. “There’s no such thing as chef school for barbecue so I’ve pretty much learned everything through trial and error. Now I get to quarterback the Road Grill team and between us, we’ve come up with some serious barbecue recipes.”

In each episode Matt and his team prepare a minimum of three grilled dishes as well as a summer side dish all made from fresh and healthy ingredients. From Slow Smoked Pork Butt in a Papaya Marinade to a Breakaway Pear and Fennel Salad, there’s no stopping this team from spreading the love of great barbecue.

The first two World Broadcast Premiere episodes include:

Beach Party (World Broadcast Premiere)
Monday, May 19 at 2pm ET repeating at 7pm ET
Matt and his barbecue team hit the soft sand under the hot summer sun and treat beach lovers to some great food that can be eaten on the go including: Blackened Scallops with Avocado Salsa, Slow Smoked Beef Ribs, Flank Steak Fajitas and Watermelon Salad.

The Country Fair (World Broadcast Premiere)
Wednesday, May 21 at 2pm ET repeating at 7pm ET
Matt and the Road Grill Team barbecue into the night at a small town country fair. Lamb Souvlaki pita with a Tzatziki Sauce, Slow Smoked Brisket, Bacon Wrapped Grilled Corn and Caramel Kettle Corn are serious competition for the midway, petting zoo and cotton candy.
