This one really great show. The chemistry between Murdoch and Ogden is so alive. It will be interesting to see what happens to them as the show continues. Glad to see that a second season is being produced.
I like how we get little snippets of what Murdoch did before he became a detective. I also like the fact that we see a female pathologist which for around this time would have been a rarity.
Keep up the great work and bring on the new shows. Hopefully here in Australia we will not have to wait too long for season two to show here.

Ah...thrilled that we get another season of this great show. Since re-runs have been running, I feared no more were being shot.
The cast for this show is fabulous. Murdoch and the female coroner have great chemistry (hard to find) and the writing for both is right on.
The 2 main police characters are perfect. Watched the younger playing
with Mary Walsh in Hatching etc and now we really get to see his stuff.
Once again, chemistry with the 4 main actors is rich.
Thank you, thank you, for creating a wonderful Canadian show that we
can all be proud of. Congratulations.

Right. Most Excellent show is any that can capture the concept of feeling, from a time that is embedded, in the roots of Toronto's history. Coupled with the grassroots of forensic science, and its development from the beginning. Murdock's Mysteries not only does not insult the intelligence of the audience, but enhances their understanding, of the modern techniques of catching the bad guys. May the show continue for even another season. ‹(•¿•)›

So glad to hear that the show and cast will be coming back later this season. In my opinion, this show can hold it's own against any other show on television. The fact that it is produced in Canada is a bonus!

The constant background sounds/noice is terrible and much of the voice sound track is drowned out by shuffling sounds, wind sounds, bells, birds chirping and on and on.
I'm for Canadian productions of all types & especially concerned about the impending Harpur governments promised cutbacks.

Barring those concerns I think Murdock Mysteries has great possibilities. No violence, a challenging plot, credible actors, and good scripts. So...
Cut out much of that noise for the '09 series.

Upon a close review of the show, the police station indicates 1889 not 1899

Yeah, Yeah, for me too..Glad to hear it's back. Now all I need is Rob Carlie to go into the studio and cut some CD's of the theme music. It really is worth publishing...
