  1. As someone who actually auditioned for this play and was surprised to be in the last 20 people, I have to say that even though I didn’t get a part in the play, I will never forget the wonderful connections I made with the ladies who auditioned at the same time as me. That was an incredible experience. I would not have missed it for the world.

I am amazed and delighted to see how 13 “real women” have been brought together to tell their real stories on stage, and brought me to tears many times during this hour. This is oh so powerful. Ladies, there is an actor in all of you, and I am sorry I did not get to see you live. You all did a tremondous job of moving us, making us laugh, making us cry, making us love all of you through your stories.

Congratulations to Judith for doing such a tremendous job as director. You brought out the best in all these ladies, you turned them into incredible actors, and you should be so proud. I am so proud of all of you. Incredible!

  2. I watched this program and was extremely moved and impressed with how personal and tasteful it was created by all of those courageous womens personal stories.
I work with at risk females and would love to know how to get a copy of this program which I think would be very encouraging for these girls to watch and realize that there is life after hard times and they are not alone.

    Sincerely,
    Rochelle Vinck :)

  3. Thank you, thank you.

A friend brought this program to my attention last spring, but I had no idea it was on tonight. I was fleeing from US election news, and found your performance.

And what a relief, to escape the posturing of story, the denial of story, the manipulation of story, the absence of story and the exclusion from story that is apparent in the political ‘stories’ of the day.

I teach writing for women, or rather, I write with women – whose stories are heard in each session. Who said ‘If one woman told the truth about her life, the world would break open?’

Thank you for ‘breaking open’ — all of you!

  4. Brilliant – just Brilliant. Brilliant as rare jewels. The effulgence of light shining in these women’s souls will continue to illuminate everyone who watched.

I am so thrilled to have been able to watch this collaboration of wise women. To hear their stories, to resonate with their lives. I thought I was the “only one”. We need groups like this everywhere. May it be so.

  5. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL THOUGHTFUL PRESESNTATION OF WOMEN STORIES.THIS PRODUCTION WAS AMAZING,YOUNG WOMEN IN HIGH SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES SOULD SEE THIS SHOW.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY,LOVE OF LIFE AND NEW FOUND SELVES.TRUTH MAKES FOR RIVITING PROGRAMING.THANK YOU WOMEN, THANKS CBC ,THANKS DOVE.

  6. I come from a small community in British Columbia, Canada and have heard very similar comments as above from those who got to watch Finding Body and Soul. I knew about it but was unable to catch it due to another very important prior commitment.

Will it be shown again, or can we obtain a copy for our womens group to watch it together. Either way will work great, and if a DVD is possible just tell us the cost.

    Thank you for your attention.

  7. I also live in British Columbia and missed the program. Will it be shown again or can the two of us in BC who want to see it, share a DVD?

  8. Please replay “Finding Body and Soul” another date. Only caught
a small part of show, but it moved me deeply, woke me up.
Made me realize that I am only half living. We need more shows
of that type to show us how beautiful life is with the help of friends. Thank you, gerry hoyt
