Proper TV (Canada’s Worst Driver, Canada’s Worst Handyman) announced today its ‘triple play’ with Discovery Channel Canada as the network green lights three of their development and production slate. These series will be showcased for international distribution outside of North America at MIPTV this month as part of Proper Television’s distribution deal with ITV Worldwide.

Inventions That Shook the World is a 10-part documentary series of one hour episodes that examine the inventions of the 20th century which have shaped how we travel, communicate, live, work and play. From the internet to kitty litter, tasers to the disposable razor, the series highlights remarkable designs great and small that have forever changed our world.

Following the award-winning feature documentary The Real Superhumans and the Quest for the Future Fantastic, Proper’s first foray into HD Feature documentary territory, a four-part documentary series follow-up is heading into production.
