“The last scripted series that was not afraid to show Montreal as Montreal on a pan-Canadian network was Naked Josh, which premiered in 2004. But that dramedy about a sexual anthropology prof (played by local actor David Julian Hirsh) was not on one of the big networks, but rather the specialty channel Showcase and it ran for only 26 episodes over three seasons.” Read more.
