      1. No one’s joking, its a good show…maybe you should have an open mind and watch it. Its quite addicting!

  1. The bar to measure success is low at CBC it seems. Some of these shows (Mosque, Erica) have consistently lost viewers each season, but somehow that earns them renewal?

  2. Ron James is renewed? He’s the funniest man in Canada! If you’re a complete moron who’s bonked your head about 100 times.

  3. So happy that little mosque is renewed, it is by far one of my fav shows! The little jokes thrown in are subtle…but get you laughing–Love! THANKS CBC!!!!

  4. R.e. “Some of these shows (Mosque, Erica) have consistently lost viewers each season, but somehow that earns them renewal?”

About $930 million of the CBC’s $1.3-billion annual budget comes from taxpayers, so apparently ratings don’t matter.

  5. over that last 48 years CBC has produced one original and actually humorous show that may actually appeal to to normal tax payers. It even panders a little to minorities(or are they?). Men with Brooms. Well i guess I’ll go back to American content, hen their shows loose market share they cancel them even if they pander to minorities. It’s no wonder i think the CBC’s public funding should be cut say by about $930 million. I’m sure Rick Mercer could get work.
