Bubbly, ambitious and always ready with a plan, Debra DeLong has her sights set on making the world a better place in the new Family Channel series DEBRA! premiering Saturday, June 4 at 4 p.m. ET/PT. The live-action series features a passionate young girl with a positive outlook who’s instigating a change in the lives of her friends, whether they’re ready for it or not. The first live-action series from Canadian producer Cookie Jar Entertainment, DEBRA! is the third Family Channel original series to debut this year.

DEBRA! follows a very special girl named Debra Carnegie Cameron DeLong (Niamh Wilson), who is on a mission to improve the world using her future business, Big Soaring Pony. An effervescent teen juggernaut who never thinks small, Debra applies her big imagination to improving her school, her community and her friends’ lives. With her energy and her friend Preston’s (Will Jester) talent, and often bewildered support, she sets out to bring back a stronger sense of community to the city of Camfield.

In the series premiere episode titled “Introducing Debra,” airing Saturday, June 4 at 4 p.m. ET/PT, irrepressible Debra DeLong transfers to Camfield High. She persuades her new friend, Preston Lunford, to compete in the talent show to get back at her long-time rival, Dancy Cologne. In the second episode, airing Sunday, June 5 at 4 p.m. ET/PT, Debra helps a hard-working senior graduate by training him to meet the only requirement he’s missing, an early-morning wrestling credit. New episodes of DEBRA! continue to air Sundays at 4 p.m. ET/PT on Family following the premiere.

DEBRA! is executive produced and written by Andrew Nicholls and Darrell Vickers (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) and marks Cookie Jar Entertainment’s first live-action series for Family Channel. Stacey Curtis (Naturally, Sadie, The Best Years) serves as co-executive producer and Kevin May (The Latest Buzz, Naturally, Sadie) is producer.
