Last night, Global’s smash hit original drama Rookie Blue proved it’s still packing heat as the second season premiere booked 1.4 million viewers (2+, national). Winning its time-slot nationally and in the key Adults 18-49 demo, the highly-anticipated debut delivered a solid performance as the #1 drama program of the night.

Next week on Rookie Blue (“Might Have Been†– Thursday, June 30 at 10pm ET/PT), Andy and Gail go undercover as waitresses at a club known for frequent drug use, but get more than they bargained for when their fellow waitress turns out to be involved with a vicious criminal. Meanwhile, Traci wrestles with feelings for her old flame, Detective Barber; Dov tries to weather the storm when a young woman files a complaint against him; and Andy opens up to Sam about her commitment to Luke.
