Conveniently, there’s a new CBC show that is not just good, it is excellent. Michael: Tuesdays & Thursdays, a half-hour comedy created by Don McKellar and Bob Martin, follows the lives of Michael (Matt Walsh) and David (Bob Martin), the therapist he visits twice a week. Michael, who is beset by an array of phobias — the closing credits describe the series as “based on the neuroses of Matt Walsh” — has been seeing David for 15 years, over which time he has become at least functional, if still rather skittish.
