Sunshine Sketches returns to CBC

    This 2012 adaptation of a 1912 comic fantasy celebrates the centennial of Leacock’s most celebrated book and falls on another anniversary: It’s 60 years since the beginning of CBC television, which chose Sunshine Sketches as its first drama, with John Drainie as narrator and Timothy Findley (then a promising actor, not yet an author) as Peter Pupkin, the lovelorn bank teller.
