New tonight: Call Me Fitz, Heartland, Over The Rainbow

Call Me Fitz, HBO Canada – season premiere
In the new season, after his beloved Summer Wind lounge is forced to close by City Hall, Fitz sees only one option: take over City Hall. With Larry (Ernie Grunwald) and Dot Foxley (Amy Sloan) running his campaign, Fitz is hell bent on forcing himself into office, any way he can. Before he can win the election he has to get by Melody Gray (guest star Gabrielle Miller), the city’s hardnosed on-the-street reporter and in her mind the most important journalist in news. Melody is not only determined to ruin Fitz’s political aspirations but has a long standing feud with Dot. It’s City Hall or bust on this season of Call Me Fitz.

Heartland, CBC – “Crossed Signals”
Ty struggles to deal with the fact that Amy has found the engagement ring and has to decide how and whether he is going to propose to her or not.

Over the Rainbow, CBC – “Performance #2”
The remaining Dorothys compete, singing a mixture of Broadway and pop songs for a chance to star as Dorothy in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of The Wizard of Oz, to be staged at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto.
