  1. Interesting article. With two kids, ages 3 and 5, I “get” to watch a lot of kids’ shows. My younger daughter really likes Netflix, because she gets to watch countless episodes of her favourite shows like Superwhy, Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues. She also really enjoys CBC Kids, Disney Jr, Treehouse and PBS Kids. My older one though, in her ripe old age of 5.75, prefers YTV and Juicebox TV (a kids music video channel) because she claims that Disney Jr and Treehouse are for little kids plus she likes the toy commercials which she doesn’t get on those other channels because they are commercial-free–she’ll actually rewind the commercials several times to replay them she likes them so much. Her favourite shows on tv/Netflix are Cooked (a Canadian show), Monster High and Ninja Turtles.
