  1. Caution when reading this article. If you haven’t read all the books, this writer gives too much of the future plot away! I read 4 of the books before the series came out but it was so long ago I can’t remember everything. And yeah I’m one of the impressionable generation X teens who grew up with the 3 earlier miniseries. Not sure I like some of the liberties being taken with this new series. The Sullivan production is iconic for the last 30 years for a reason.
