Murdoch Mysteries, CBC – “Murdoch of the Living Dead”
Murdoch’s prime suspect in a woman’s murder is her husband, who appears to have returned from the dead.

Cracked, CBC – “The Hold Out”
When a bomb goes off in the home of an elderly paranoid man locked in a battle with a successful developer, Psych Crimes is called in to sort through conspiracy theories in search of the truth. The man might be paranoid – it doesn’t mean people aren’t out to get him. Guest stars: Eric Peterson, Jonathan Potts, Natalie Brown, Shaun Benson, Claire Rankin.

Package Deal, City – “The Bully”
Danny’s (Randal Edwards) past comes back to haunt him when he’s assigned to defend Wayne Hilicky (guest star Geoff Gustafson, Hot Tub Time Machine), someone he used to bully as a child. Danny fights tirelessly to get Wayne’s charges dropped, but when things take an unexpected turn in the middle of the trial, Danny is forced to overhaul his plans to make amends and enlists Sheldon (Harland Williams) to help. Meanwhile, Ryan (Jay Malone) obsesses over his ex-wife’s Wikipedia page.

The Project: Guatemala, City/OLN – “The Summit” season finale
Energized from “Kids Day,” the group kicks the build into high gear to ensure the community centre for Project Somos is completed on time. Later, the remaining participants prepare to summit the third-highest peak in Central America – Acatenango Volcano – to celebrate their accomplishment. In the end, host Ray Zahab reveals the mole and rewards a participant with the opportunity of a lifetime. When a shopkeeper is knifed in Kensington Market, Psych Crimes needs to help him overcome his unique illness – Face Blindness – in order to identify the attacker. But soon their investigation leads them to a place in which the roles of attacker and victim, and even their ideas of justice, are called into question. Guest stars: Demore Barnes, Tom Barnett, Stephan James, Amy Forsyth

Package Deal, City – “Kim vs. Karaoke”
After her best friend dumps her, Kim (Julia Voth) starts monopolizing Danny’s (Randal Edwards) time, leaving him with no opportunity to practice with his brothers for their annual karaoke tournament. With the help of McKenzie (recurring guest star Eugene Levy), Sheldon (Harland Williams) and Danny decide to find Kim a friend in order to get Danny’s attention back on karaoke. Meanwhile, Ryan (Jay Malone) tries speed dating in hopes of making his ex-wife jealous, but when his date makes fast friends with Kim, Danny starts to feel left out in the cold.

The Project: Guatemala, City and OLN – “Cheating Death”
The participants visit a garbage site to gather material for eco-bricks that will support the walls of the community centre. The team is reminded of why they’re working so hard when 50 children arrive for a much-anticipated “Kids Day.” Later, host Ray Zahab takes the group on a plane adventure that proves to be a death-defying challenge for the contestants. Cracked, CBC – “The Valley”
When a schizophrenic young man living in the Rosedale Valley ravine is found murdered, Psych Crimes is called to a puzzling scene: the location has been cleaned and the body carefully posed. What starts out as a murder investigation becomes a quest to save a family and avert another disastrous outcome. Guests stars: Martha Burns, R.H. Thomson, Mayko Nguyen, Chloe Rose, Jordan Gavaris.

Package Deal, City – “I Love You???”
After uttering “I love you” to Kim (Julia Voth) without any response, Danny (Randal Edwards) is unsure about the state of their relationship. When he asks his brothers for help, they convince him to take his “I love you” back, leaving Kim feeling hurt. Meanwhile, Sheldon’s (Harland Williams) new big-and-tall coffin business sends Ryan (Jay Malone) into a pit of despair, as he is forced to confront his fear of death – and caskets.

The Project: Guatemala, OLN/City – “Inappropriate Behaviour”
In order to make a contribution to the community centre grounds, the participants work in various local industries to learn what a day’s wage can buy in Guatemala. Later, host Ray Zahab’s adventure challenge takes everyone to Monterrico to get a taste of life on the coast, including fishing in the Mangroves and climbing for coconuts. Back at Project Somos, the girls’ inappropriate behaviour lands them in hot water. Plus, catch the half-hour digital after show The Project Live online at OLN.ca/theproject following the show. Call Me Fitz, Movie Central/TMN – season premiere
Starring Jason Priestley as Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick, a morally flawed car salesman, Call Me Fitz returns for a fourth season, but things have changed. With a new baby in the house – Elaine’s swinging party pad, no less – Larry thinks it’s the perfect time to dig out the family photo album, empty old boxes in the basement, and discover what made the Fitzpatricks the class-A derelicts they are today. Every new piece of the Fitzpatrick past that Larry uncovers sheds more light on the family’s twisted history, while fueling the dysfunctional fire between them and, in the end, unearthing a nemesis hell-bent on eradicating the Fitzpatricks and their way of life.

Danny (Randal Edwards), Sheldon (Harland Williams), and Ryan (Jay Malone) have a long and storied tradition of pranking one another. When the brothers replace Danny’s bed with a giant vat of water, Danny officially declares the start of the prank war. Feeling completely excluded, Kim (Julia Voth) tries to join in on the fun by pranking Sheldon, but her intricate plan backfires.

When a competitor dies during a bicycle race, Murdoch suspects he was killed by large doses of a mysterious stimulant. Guest star: Sean Cullen

Cracked, CBC – “The Price”
Members of a rock band (Toronto’s “The Balconies”) are the victims of a brazen shooting in a downtown nightclub. Aidan and Clara have to determine whether the key witness – an ex-model with a shady past – is truly suffering from traumatic amnesia or lying to conceal the identity of the killer. Guest stars: Monika Schnarre, Bruce Ramsay, Lochlyn Munro, The Balconies.

The Project: Guatemala, OLN & City – “Bus Troubles”
A great day in Lake Atitlan puts the participants in a good mood, but it quickly turns to disaster when things unravel on the ride home, forcing someone to leave the camp for good. Cracked attempts to come out of its shell

Can Cracked come out its shell in Season Two
The Toronto-based drama, about a Psychic Crimes Unit, barely cracked the half-million viewers aq week mark in its first season last spring. Cash-strapped CBC renewed it, but tentatively, granting it an eight week fall run. That’s not much time to turn around a series. While its tempting to say Cracked was broken, the consensus is the drama was too dark and downbeat last season. Continue reading.
