  • Veteran actor Richard Yearwood makes smooth transition into directing/producing
    “The character of N’udu positively subverts the stereotype of the aggressive and dangerous African spy,” he says. “I’m excited, as I’ve been working to ensure that we see various sides and layers to N’udu as the season progresses.” That progression includes reflection of the immigrant experience in trying to assimilate while holding onto one’s roots. “Our audience now knows the respective characters, and now we can get into how they interact with one another.   • Season Premiere airs Monday, October 3 at 8:30 p.m. (9 p.m. NT) immediately following BATTLE OF THE BLADES; New Spy Training Game and online videos launch as well

The nation’s most unconventional secret agents are back, as INSECURITY returns to CBC Television in a new time slot, Monday nights at 8:30 p.m. (9 p.m. NT), beginning October 3. The CBC original comedy now follows Monday night results shows for the mega-hit BATTLE OF THE BLADES.
