From Jacueline Cutler of The Buffalo News:
- ‘Sophie’ keeps it all together
“Anyone old enough to pay taxes should know that just when you think life can’t get any worse, the fates scoff at you and boom! Life takes a sharp turn south. So it goes for Sophie Parker (Natalie Brown, I Me Wed) in the engaging premiere of Sophie at 9:30 p.m. Monday on the Family Channel.” Read more.
From Kelly West of Blend Television:
- New ABC Family Series Sophie Airs This Month
“The premise sounds like kind of a downer but based on the promo below and ABC Family’s reputation for blending heart and comedy in their series (see Greek for a great example of that), I think this could be a really fun show. Sophie stars Natalie Brown, Sebastian Spence, Jeff Geddis, Amy Lalonde, Mimi Kuzyk, Sara Botsford, Chantelle Chung and Catherine Bérubé.” Read more.

From Bill Brioux at TV Feeds My Family:
- Gas Refill Fuels Little Mosque
“The good news was that Little Mosque on the Prairie did a bit better than usual, up to 686,000 viewers according to BBM Canada Nielsen Media Research overnight ‘commercial’ estimates. Sophie also ’soared’ to 268,000. The bad news was Being Erica’s replacement at 9, Just For Laughs, which drew just 437,000 viewers, down more than 200,000 from Erica’s score the week before.” Read more

From Bill Brioux of TV Feeds My Family:
- Being Erica is Being Tested
“Being Erica is being stubborn about building an audience. The fourth week is usually when you settle into your season average and Erica sank to her lowest outing yet, 564,000 viewers. So far, the CBC fantasy/drama, starring Erin Karpluk, is averaging 607,000 viewers across Canada (all figures BBM/NMR overnight estimates).” Read more.
