JUNK RAIDERS follows five construction and design professionals as they team up with two of Toronto’s top freecyclers – people who cull through dumps to repurpose still-useful items – in the ultimate salvage challenge: transform an old factory space into a trendy, fully functioning live/work space. Premiering Monday, September 14 at 9 p.m. ET, Discovery Channel Canada’s newest original series captures the progress of this dynamic crew as they take consumer cast-off into their own hands and discover whether what the rest of us throw out is good enough to live in.

Toby (Craig Olejnik) and Oz (Ennis Esmer) respond to a man suffering from a head injury. As the man, Ron Wallace (guest star Mark Whelan), loses consciousness and dies, Toby flashes on an image of a young woman. As they place him on a stretcher, a handgun falls from his coat with a photo of the woman from Toby’s vision. Oz helps Toby track down the woman, who turns out to be the victim’s daughter, Lindsay (guest star Kristin Booth, M.V.P.), which leads to more questions.

CTV’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA is #1 once again. The second season debut of the homegrown urban sensation won the night in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary Tuesday*, while winning its timeslot (8-10 p.m.) nationally as well. Peaking with more than 1.3 million viewers, the two-hour premiere was watched on average by 1.08 million viewers. Nearly three million viewers watched some or all of the broadcast.
