    “The full slate of Leo Award nominees was announced on April 21, as a follow-up to the first round of announcements on April 9. The now-cancelled jPod leads the dramatic-series categories with 15 nominations, including best dramatic series and best direction. All four nominations for best screenwriting in a dramatic series went to jPod for four separate episodes. Smallville, Tin Man, and Flash Gordon followed with seven nominations each for dramatic series.” Read more.

Degrassi’s Adamo Ruggiero and Lauren Collins are heading to Hollywood to represent the internationally acclaimed Canadian drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation, which is a nominee in the “Drama Series” category at the 19th Annual GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards. Ruggiero, who in late 2007 publicly addressed his sexuality in an exclusive interview with eTalk, has also been tapped by GLAAD to present an award alongside Paul James (Greek) and Gabrielle Christian (South of Nowhere). Other presenters and guests scheduled to attend the red carpet affair this Saturday, April 26 in Los Angeles include Ellen DeGeneres, Sharon Stone, Janet Jackson, fashion designer Tom Ford, Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight, Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Kimmel and more.

Robson Arms Evicts Commercials This Monday, April 28 on CTV

Urgent notice from Robson Arms landlord Chuck Hoskins! Robson Arms will now premiere commercial-free, immediately following a special supersized, live episode of Dancing With The Stars, this Monday, April 28 at approximately 9:35 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). Nearly two million viewers make an appointment to watch Dancing With The Stars every Monday on CTV. Now, CTV launches Robson Arms with a seamless lead-in from the hit, Top 10 series.

Last month, a special sneak preview episode from Robson Arms’ third season attracted its largest audience ever, with 812,000 viewers.

On Monday’s episode, Bobbi (Gabrielle Miller) joins S.W.U.T. (Single Women United Together) and it feels like she’s been transported back to the glory days of high school. Popularity contests, backbiting, cruel practical jokes: all good stuff, until her husband-stealing nemesis Sasha (April Amber Telek) shows up to threaten her prom queen status. The Robson Arms season premiere features Gavin Crawford (The Gavin Crawford Show, This Hour Has 22 Minutes) as a transgendered person who Bobbi meets at S.W.U.T.
