Some remember her as Gail Summers in Zone of Separation, Margaret from Slings and Arrows or Dana Davin on Train 48.

Boland’s other acting credits include Khaled, Sex, Lies & Obsession, Charms For the Easy Life, UBU The Barbarian, Angels In The Infield, Two of Us, Year of the Phoenix, Harlan County, Thin Blue Line, and, Rated X.

TV Eh B Cs podcast 21 – The Sticky Notes and Love Boats of Sarah Dodd

Sarah is a screenwriter and story editor whose varied television credits include: PSI FACTOR CHRONICLES OF THE PARANORMAL, CODE NAME ETERNITY, BEASTMASTER, THE SHOEBOX ZOO, BLOOD TIES, FALCON BEACH, THE BORDER, ENDGAME, and PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD.

Sarah developed the popular book series THE SADDLE CLUB for television and helmed the story department in its first season. After two seasons as the executive story editor and writer on the YTV series ZIXX (for which she won a Leo Award for Best Screenwriting), Sarah was promoted to show-runner for its third season.

While working continuously in television since 1995, Sarah also co-wrote the award-winning short film THE SPARKLE LITE MOTEL with director Cory Kinney and participated in the NSI Features First program with her horror feature EXTINCTION. As a story editor, Sarah has worked on such feature films as DEFENDOR, WEIRDSVILLE, HANK & MIKE and ARCTIC AIR. Sarah has just completed season three of the hit primetime series Motive as the Co- Executive Producer.

TV Eh B Cs podcast 20 – A Hankering for Fred Ewanuick

Fred Ewanuick played Dan in the Gemini Award nominated, CTV original series, DAN FOR MAYOR. Prior to DAN FOR MAYOR, Ewanuick was known to television audiences as Hank Yarbo, for a six season run, on the CTV hit series CORNER GAS. Corner Gas was nominated for an International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Show and won a Gemini Award for Best Ensemble Cast in 2007. Ewanuick’s other series credits include CTV comedy/drama series ROBSON ARMS for three seasons, and guest starring roles in DA VINCI’S INQUEST and DARK ANGEL. He made his television debut as “a spinning gnome” in THE ADDAMS FAMILY series.

Ewanuick’s feature work includes the lead role in YOUNG TRIFFIE for Writer/Director Mary Walsh plus BLACK EYED DOG for Quebec filmmaker Pierre Gang who Fred worked with on the CTV MOW SELLING INNOCENCE. Additional supporting roles in New Line Cinema’s JUST FRIENDS with Ryan Reynolds and the Miramax family film, CHESTNUT. Ewanuick was the lead in the indie feature, THE DELICATE ART OF PARKING, which won him a Best Actor Award at Spain’s Peniscola Film Festival after it premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival, where it won Best Canadian Feature. Ewanuick made his film debut in MGM/UA’s A GUY THING, followed by a role in THE SANTA CLAUSE 2. Ewanuick just wrapped on his latest feature, PATTERSON’S WAGER.
