  25. Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Still Standing & Murdoch Mysteries!!!!! The site won’t let us vote.

  26. Where is ‘Little Dog’ never mind any of the others other than Murdoch mysteries as the only reason I bothered with Frankie Drake mysteries I had hoped some of the cast past or present would be on it but no. If and I say if I watched that it would be for UK imports like Alan Davies. I don’t like many CBC shows and some of the web series I liked like ‘Shitty Boyfriends’ was funny should be a half hour show. I wasn’t going to watch ‘Little Dog’ but was bored one night and well it’s not half bad. I don’t like skit comedy so forget it. Kim’s Convenience is insulting I don’t mind the fact of it’s all asian cast is great but the stereotyping is bad.

I don’t care if Albertan’s here don’t like it but ‘Heartland’ sucks like Hallmark channel trash ‘When calls the heart’ is a racist program that pretends there were no chinese or black or natives in early Canada is shit and a lie any Canadian knows this yet CBC is ok with this shit show. I just find ‘Heartland’ too soap opera for me and I could care less what anyone thinks here but if you like it more power to you then. Surely Alberta can do better than this has very good actors and actresses to do something better than this show. Even ‘Due North’ was better. I think Alberta is more than the stereotype people think they are and Heartland is not good for that.

I don’t like ‘The Coroner’ as it’s copying “Brokenwood Mysteries’ a bit whether they admit or not. I am surprised however they didn’t put back Street Legal the old eps before new one. Will it come back I don’t know do I care I say no. You would think Cynthia Dale would want to do something more than this and her talented sister as well. Schitt’s Creek is award winning not on this list and should be a great show I wasn’t sure about it but has grown on me. There was a show long time ago in BC and back then it didn’t go far but it as well wasn’t bad could be brought back not the indian Detective but another show produced in BC. The Great Detective whom I think was the inspiration behind Murdoch Mysteries. Cavendish was a bit lame if it hadn’t been for Kevin Eldon a talented actor from Britain if it was more him it would have been great. Some of the web series are good the Saskatchewan rappers was funny.

political series ‘best laid plans’ and ‘made in Canada’ should be brought back and hire Armando Iannucci to write for it with a Canadian scriptwriter. He produced Veep and would love to see Canadian politics make it into international satire. Anglo show from Quebec Mile Enders though a web series is actually funny as much as Martin Matte show.

Skit comedy in Canada is on it’s way out as it was only on because they paid very cheaply. Canadian gov’t doesn’t want to spend money on shows in Canada is why some shows only go one season even if they do get ratings. It’s only the ones with dual support from England that get anywhere. As CBC is the only Canadian channel left as CTV stopped being Canadian a long time ago 100% of it’s shows are American as well as CityTV and Global TV which sucks as Canada has much more talent than most outside realize. Yet our gov’t no longer forces channels to have content other than news which also sucks. So while ppl complain about CBC you can’t balk at the very fact that it contains more than any of those channels.

CTV,Global, CityTV all are for the rich few who have cable and HGTV Canada all of them now block non cable users. Not sure why as us Internet users are not cheap just selective and don’t want to pay a bagillion dollars to watch 500 channels of nothing and only one has Canadian content. I could give a rats about netflix as it does not care for those who are being pigeonholed by Rogers and Bell for internet I think even we deserve the right to use same regular channels as cable users. I could give a shit about any channel outside of this country other than UK Channel 4, BBC or ITV which we aren’t privy to even if we paid user fees they won’t let us have it and not on any cable channel provider list in Canada. Screw BBC Canada if it’s still on it’s shit.

I hate American shows are so lame and tired very few have ever made it past me unless it’s Brit produced like Veep. Which is why when ITV collabs with Canada on shows I do try to support as ppl in UK can then sample our acting talent is a win-win and sometimes vice versa.

I also like the subtitled shows from Sweden etc.. very interesting and the UK thought so as well so keep em coming.
