  1. awesome good news bringing the original team on directors and behind the scenes participants and actors creating a seamless production works for me. Good luck going forward for season 14

  2. So excited to start filming season 14 of the great show Murdoch Mysteries! My family and I look forward to meeting our beloved characters William Murdoch, his delightful wife Dr. Ogden, the Inspector and George. Is there just 11 episodes in season 14? Everyone understands the complexity of filming in a pandemic, but we really want at least 18 episodes. We love this show very much and wish good luck to all its team!

    1. Yes, only 11 episodes of Murdoch Mysteries is disappointing, I bet to most fans in Canada/America & around the world. Plus, advertising revenue is lost to CBC. But at least the series is not cancelled & so far, watching the repeats on CBC is worthwhile.

  3. Thank you for doing this. It must be hard and confusing at times but happy to see that you have found a way to produce 11 episodes for us. Good luck and stay safe.

  4. Can’t wait for season 14 and more. My wife and I will continue watching the reruns every night until then!

    1. This is very disappointing that fans have to wait at least a year for one one the greatest mystery series of all times!

    2. There’s nothing, that compares to Murdoch Mysteries on CBC or any other channel & waiting till bloody hell winter, is torture.

  5. the only good thing about this pandemic is my introduction to Murdoch Mysteries. I started watching this series a few weeks ago and immediately became an ardent fan, so much so that I have watched every episode several times. Really great cast of characters. Am anxiously awaiting new episodes but patience have never been my strong suit.

    1. Lucky Marjorie, gets to travel back in time, to the world of Murdoch Mysteries. I finally got to watch”The Waltons”(no laughing allowed), 5 days a week, for the first time, after watching Murdoch on CBC of coarse. The Waltons is a quality program, with realistic good values & the family, everyone wish they had.

    2. Same here, during the pandemic flipping through channels and there it was. It just so happened it was Season one episode 2. Watched all of the seasons and got Season 13 from the local library as well as the three movies.

  6. I’m happy to settle for 11 episodes. Hope we are all here to watch the new season. Safe travels, everyone!

    1. So glad it’s continuing my favourite show. There’s nothing like it, cause
it’s around the turn of the Century when so many inventions are being released and we get to meet all these inventors and Murdoch being a clever inventor himself it’s brilliant. All the characters/ actors are second to none they just fit like a glove, it’s entertaining every week and never boring. So thank you for continuing, you have world wide fans out there so that says it all.

  7. I am so glad my TV family is coming back.
I have not seen my real family in 5 years now and was so looking forward to going home to England this year to see them until Covid reared it’s ugly head.
So waiting for another year to see my TV family doesn’t seem such a long time to wait. At least it is coming back. WooHoo!!!

  8. Very Happy Murdoch and the gang are back, interesting and fun show to watch, can’t wait for the new episodes 😁

  9. We’re hooked and so happy to hear another season is afoot ! We live in the state, Missouri to be specific , and somewhat rural. The show has been coming to us in syndication via ION Plus, but now that the channel has started showing holiday themed specials, we can’t find Murdoch Mysteries. I’m sure we could stream it online, however, due to our location with such slow internet, it takes forever for the shortest of shows to go thru buffering and takes all the interest of viewing that way.
Anyway, we want to say how much we love the show and hope to continue viewing it again soon !!!
