Over a period of six months participant push their minds and bodies to new limits in the pursuit of physical and emotional health.
“We couldn’t be more proud of our team and participants who put themselves, heart and soul into the pursuit of excellence,” says Executive Producer Margaret Mardirossian of Anaïd Productions. “The show deals with deep physical and emotional challenges which demands respect from all who engage in the process – participants, production teams across Canada and viewers nationally and internationally. We are delighted to have this acknowledgement from one of the world’s most prestigious television competitions.”
According to the Festival, the 100 program finalists were selected from more than 900 entries received this year. “The Banff World Television Awards (Rockies) are among the world’s most coveted television awards. The high number of entries from the more than 44 countries and territories, representing a 15% increase from last year, proves the Award’s continued growth and recognition within our international television community,” commented Jennifer Harkness, Executive Director of the Banff World Television Festival.
