    Who knew the high arctic was just five miles north of the U.S. border? That’s where CBC held their west coast version of their Winter launch, in the makeshift sound stage where interiors for their upcoming drama Arctic Air are shot. The series, which stars Adam Beach and was inspired by the real life Buffalo Airmen of Ice Pilots: NWT, premieres January 10th. Read more.

    It is a long trip from the onstage boozy bickering of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf to a TV action series set in Canada’s Arctic, but so far Vancouver actor Kevin McNulty is enjoying the ride. “I spent a morning up in Yellowknife last week with second unit, just me on an ATV in the snow,” says McNulty back in Aldergrove, where interior sets have been built for the new CBC series Arctic Air.
