Saw Dogs, OLN – “Race to the Finish”
A commission for a horse racing track presents unusually tough challenges to the carvers, as well as a tight deadline – the last race of the season is only a few days away. Master carvers Jeff Samudosky and Mark Colp are invited to create the sculpture of three charging horses, but first they must find ways to deal with the physical limitations of redwood in their complex and finely-detailed design. Meanwhile, Steve judges a competition where young and old carvers compete.

Acclaimed Canadian director Bruce McDonald, who directed TELETOON’s hit live-action film My Babysitter’s a Vampire, is back at the helm for an upcoming episode of the eponymous TELETOON series, which is developed and produced by Fresh TV. The episode of My Babysitter’s a Vampire, entitled “Friday Night Frights,” premieres on Thursday, February 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. McDonald has directed a total of three episodes from season one of the popular tween series.

    Nickelodeon has acquired Canadian teen sitcom Life with Boys in a deal that will broadcast the show in the U.S. and across Europe. The series, which launched in September on YTV, stars Torri Webster as 14-year-old Tess Foster, who is outnumbered at home, as she lives with her overprotective, single father and three brothers.
