Everything about Haven, eh?

New tonight: Haven on Showcase – season 2 premiere

HAVEN, SEASON 2

Mondays at 10pm ET/PT beginning July 18

Haven’s new season begins as Audrey (Emily Rose) and Nathan (Lucas Bryant) discover a supernatural power harnessing a deadly plague that threatens to wipe out the small town. Meanwhile, Audrey questions the motives of a mysterious woman who shares her name and memories. The series, based on The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King, follows FBI agent Audrey Parker (Rose), who takes up residence in the fictional small town of Haven, Maine and soon discovers the town’s many secrets. A longtime refuge for people with an eclectic range of supernatural abilities, Haven also holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of Audrey’s lost past. This season welcomes two new characters; Jason Priestley (90210, Call Me Fitz) as Chris Brody and Vinessa Antoine (Soul Food, Being Erica) as Evi Ryan.

Jason Priestley does Nova Scotian double duty in Haven and Call Me Fitz

From Bill Brioux of Toronto.com:

  • Being busy’s no curse for Jason Priestley
Jason Priestley has found Haven in Nova Scotia, which seems fitting since he once unknowingly provided haven for the series’ producer. The Vancouver native has been based for years in places like New York and Los Angeles (he’s now a naturalized American citizen), but for the past two years he’s been working a lot on Canada’s East Coast, first on his own series Call Me Fitz (returning this fall to The Movie Network/Movie Central) and now on Haven, returning for a second season Monday at 10 p.m. on Showcase.
