A sanctuary mission to infiltrate a secret Abnormal testing facility brings Magnus and Henry face-to-face with a mysterious and deadly creature, and with an old friend whose loyalties are once again in question.

Magnus flies to a remote island in Africa to meet with the Sanctuary’s new top secret financial advisor, but lands herself in the middle of a deadly hostage situation.

With a government inspector threatening to cut off the Sanctuary’s funding, Magnus and Will must explain a mission gone wrong. Meanwhile, Henry has a surprise visitor with some shocking news.

As Hollow Earth Abnormals continue to arrive at the surface in droves, Will, Henry, Kate and Bigfoot scramble to prevent all-out war with the Lotus Security Forces. All the while, they are worrying about the whereabouts and safety of Magnus who was last seen heading to Praxis just before the city was destroyed.

  Amanda Tapping is fighting the early signs of a cold on this early October morning, but she feels energized and reinvigorated just the same. Filming has concluded in Burnaby on the 13 episodes of Sanctuary’s fourth season, and Tapping – an executive producer, as well as the show’s lead actor – is immersed in post-production, putting the finishing touches on a season she says will take Sanctuary’s followers on a darker, more cerebral turn.
