From a media release:

PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD rips into 2013 on a new night, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning Jan. 22

On January 22 at 10 p.m. ET, the dino-mighty SPACE Original Series PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD gives viewers something to roar about, as the mid-season premiere tears into the schedule in its new Tuesday night timeslot. Returning for the second half of the successful first season, PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD picks up with “Breakthrough.” In this episode, footage of a triceratops goes viral on the net forcing Evan (Niall Matter, EUREKA) and Dylan (Sara Canning, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES) to track the creature to an upscale neighbourhood, and to the home of Evan’s old rival Howard Kanan (Colin Ferguson, EUREKA), who is only too capable of understanding the implications of Anomalies and intersections in time.

Extreme Babysitting premieres January 5 on YTV

From a media release:

YTV Launches New Prank Show

  • Extreme Babysitting premieres on Saturday, January 5 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on YTV

Corus Entertainment’s YTV is launching a brand-new original prank series Extreme Babysitting, set to debut on Saturday, January 5 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, following a line-up of great comedy including Zoink’d! and Splatalot.

Extreme Babysitting is sure to make families laugh by taking a totally relatable situation – babysitting – and giving it a hilarious twist. Teens ready to take on babysitting gigs, set up by “well-meaning” family and friends, find themselves in silly situations they never saw coming. Unbeknownst to them, the Extreme Babysitting house is filled with a cast of characters ready to pull off the ultimate babysitting prank. Add an outrageous element to the mix, like a marching band or an explosive science project, and you have a half hour of non-stop laughs. Behind the scenes, YTV’s own on-air personality, Andy Chapman (CRUNCH) serves as the show’s “Prankmaster” adding another layer of colourful comedy to the hi-jinks.

Produced by General Purpose Pictures and CCI Entertainment, in association with YTV, the half-hour show sets out to push the ridiculous metre on the usually mundane world of babysitting, without letting the babysitters know that they are actually on TV.

Extreme Babysitting tops off YTV’s real comedy line-up – a collection of reality-based comedy series for the whole family.

Zoink’d! – 6 p.m. ET/PT: Zoink’d! is a messy talent show that gets adult performers to showcase their wacky talents in front of a panel of kid judges who have the power to eliminate unentertaining grown-ups by covering them in goo.

Splatalot – 6:30 p.m. ET/PT: Splatalot is chalk full of wipeouts and face-plants as thrill-seeking teens race through a medieval obstacle course that features a sludge-filled moat and a squad of gladiators tasked with slowing them down.
