AUDIENCES CATCH ON TO CBC TELEVISION’S NO. 1 NEW SERIES: DRAGONS’ DEN

Viewership for CBC Television’s increasingly popular series DRAGONS’ DEN has continued to grow each week. The broadcast of episode six, which aired Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m., attracted 547,000 Canadian viewers, an increase of 250 per cent since the show premiered in October.

Viewers who missed the start of the series will be able to watch an updated presentation of the first episode on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m.

The season finale, airing Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m., takes a surprising twist when the secrets of the Den are revealed. In this episode, viewers will learn what happened to some of the most talked-about pitchers. In particular, the Kingston woman who pitched her kegel exerciser; the Winnipeg brothers who wanted to mortgage their family farm to make their electronic gift card dreams come true; the memorable pitcher who brought the Dragons to tears with her personal tale of escaping communist Czechoslovakia; and the Brighton, Ont. man who won the pockets of the Dragons with his portable barbecue.
