• CTV plays catchup with Star
  “The third season of homegrown teen drama Instant Star returns to the CTV primetime schedule Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. ET with the first of 13 new episodes, just one week after wrapping its second season on June 19. The Epitome Pictures show was bounced around the CTV schedule and aired only half of its second season last summer, before returning with the remaining six last month. Star will move to its regular Sunday 7:30 p.m. timeslot beginning July 8.”

Instant Star Season 3 introduces Juno nominee Cory Lee as Karma, the newest Instant Star and Jude Harrison’s (Alexz Johnson) instant rival! In the season premiere, Jude finally convinces Darius to let her off the hook from performing at the Instant Star finale. Happy that she got her way with Darius, Jude is on top of the world until “revealing” photos of her surface and a blackmailer threatens to destroy her hard-won credibility. Things get even stickier for Jude when Karma spills everything to Darius. He seizes the opportunity to regain control, using the photos as leverage over Jude. Absent for many weeks, Tommy returns to the scene with a special “friend” in tow. Is it finally time for Jude to move on once and for all?
