An accomplished comedy writer, stand-up performer and actor, Dave Hemstad has earned a reputation for his insightful logic and penetrating witticism. In 2003, Hemstad was honoured by the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities as the “Best Comedian in Canada.†Hemstad has performed on many stages including Just for Laughs and the Halifax Comedy Festival, as well as on international stages in Singapore and England. Hemstad has also shared the stage with comedians including Russell Peters, Jeremy Hotz and Canadian legend, Ron James.
