    Season 4 started with Ed Lane (Hugh Dillon) in the hospital, recovering from a gunshot wound…and things have only gotten more intense. Later on in the season, he was held hostage, and so was Spike (Sergio Di Zio), and Parker (Enrico Colantoni) (on top of a scoreboard, no less!). And no one was spared – Sam’s (David Paetkau) sister was held hostage and in the second-to-the-last episode, Jules (Amy Jo Johnson) was hit with shrapnel. Read more.

Flashpoint “a character-driven cop show with heart”

  • CBS missed the point of Flashpoint
    Flashpoint don’t get no respect. At least, not from CBS, its former American network home, which followed three seasons of tacit neglect by unceremoniously dumping the show in the middle of its fourth, to be picked up by ION Television, a sad little U.S. cable net that airs more infomercials than it does actual shows.
