In production: Jeff Ltd., Season Two

Production Begins on Season Two of Original Comedy Series Jeff Ltd

On the heels of last week’s Gemini nomination for Best Comedy Series, CTV and The Comedy Network announced today that principal photography has begun on Season 2 of their original comedy series, Jeff Ltd.

For the first time ever, the series will be shot in High Definition. Produced in association with Seymour & From Productions 2 Inc. and S & S Productions Inc., Jeff Ltd stars Jeff Seymour as the smooth-talking, fun-loving rascal Jeff Stevens, a nickel-and-dime advertising and promotions “genius-in-his-own-mind” who chases get-rich-quick schemes and women with reckless abandon. Production continues in studio and on location in Toronto and Hamilton until October 2, 2006.

In addition to Seymour, the series co-stars Inga Cadranel as Jeff’s business partner Liz and Jesse Bond as their co-worker Gavin. Also returning are Hrant Alianak as Uncle Kazem, Sam Tabar as Jeff’s cousin and nemesis Samir and Bill Elliot as Jeff’s put-upon lawyer, Bernie.

Jeff Ltd was created and written by Seymour and Eric From. From is also Creative Producer. The directors are Steve DiMarco (The Chris Isaak Show) and Ron Murphy (Degrassi: The Next Generation). Jeff Ltd is executive produced by Seymour and David Smith (The Red Green Show) and produced by Tina Grewal (The Eleventh Hour, The Curse of King Tut’s Tomb).
