‘The finest Canadian drama on TV today’? How about the ONLY Canadian drama on TV today! Seriously – except for Jozi-H (which hasn’t premiered yet) and ReGenesis, Intelligence is all that’s left of the hour-long Canadian drama on network TV.
Though it’s ambiguous … the exact quote is actually “the finest drama on Canadian television today.” Does that actually mean “finest Canadian drama”? It’s possible he meant it as higher praise than that – hard to say.
It reminds me of the American drama 24 except not in that format of an hour an episode. Great acting, good portrayals, good story line! Finally we aren’t afraid to have the geographic centre in Canada instead of the States – are we finally growing up and getting some confidence?!
