“It’s an old term for a TV trick: hammocking means plopping a laggard series in between two popular ones and watching the ratings grow. And the ploy is working for CTV’s Vancouver-made Robson Arms, airing Mondays in between reruns of Brent Butt’s Corner Gas and Canadian Idol.
