“It’s an old term for a TV trick: hammocking means plopping a laggard series in between two popular ones and watching the ratings grow. And the ploy is working for CTV’s Vancouver-made Robson Arms, airing Mondays in between reruns of Brent Butt’s Corner Gas and Canadian Idol. Now Robson Arms (in reruns) is besting The Office (in reruns). This week Arms attracted 567,000 viewers compared to 334,000 for The Office on Global.” Read More.
