WILL SHE, OR WON’T SHE? DON’T MISS THE CLIFFHANGER SEASON FINALE OF CBC-TV’S LITTLE MOSQUE ON THE PRAIRIE, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5, AT 8 P.M.

2lmop176Is Rayyan (Sitara Hewitt) about to say yes to an arranged marriage? Although Rayyan and J.J. (Stephen Lobo) were childhood friends, they haven’t seen each other in years. J.J. is now an engineer, and after a short chaperoned courtship, he’s ready to pop the question. Will she say yes? Find out on the final episode of season two of LITTLE MOSQUE ON THE PRAIRIE, Wednesday, March 5, at 8 p.m.

Things are working out really well between the two. Deciding it’s the right time, J.J. asks for Yasir’s (Carlo Rota) blessing, which Yasir gives enthusiastically. As far as Yasir is concerned, it’s a done deal. There’s only one thing missing—J.J. hasn’t asked Rayyan yet. Meanwhile, Amaar (Zaib Shaikh) tries to come to terms with his feelings for Rayyan before it’s too late and Sarah (Sheila McCarthy) wonders if this is the year she will be ‘the mother of the bride’.

  1. OMG I seriously hope she says no like its been driving me crazy since the show began that Rayanne and Amaar havn’t got together yet. Like you could see that he liked her when she went out with that fireman guy. But you could kinda tell before that too.
    OMG

  2. You have to give “Little Mosque” a lot of credit. It started out with pretty weak comedy and one dimensional characters, yet seems to have found its balance recently.

I mostly watched the first season because I liked the concept of a Muslim comedy, not because its execution was all that great. I dropped out after I saw the first and disappointing episode of the 2nd season but picked it up again during the Christmas double-episode and have been hooked ever since.

The characters are really engaging and some of the laughs are good too.Their audience numbers seem to be climbing from the 800,000s into the 900,000s and its occasionally on the BBM top 30.

I hope they can keep it up.
