“Even as word spread of CBC’s renewal of This Hour Has 22 Minutes for a 16th season, the executive producer of the Halifax-shot comedy series was playing it cool. ‘Don Messer’s Jubilee was number one on the dial and was cancelled. So one should never presume anything,’ said [Michael] Donovan during an interview in the show’s wardrobe department while last week’s episode was being taped.” Read more.
