- Beware the shark: tough for TV shows to know when to pull the plug
“Whatever you do, avoid the shark. That’s the understood mantra when it comes to determining when to end a hit TV series before it declines into tragic self-parody, but not every show manages to escape such a fate. “Corner Gas” recently announced it would go out at the top of its game, while longer-running shows such as “ER” and “The Royal Canadian Air Farce” announced finales to sighs of relief.” Read more.
