No date for The Listener !?
I wonder if they’ve decided to wait and simulcast with NBC, now that Flashpoint is doing so well in simulcast. It had been announced that The Listener would be on CTV’s fall schedule, but NBC was airing it in 2009.
Yeah summer 2009 for NBC.
The official site is still in “past and coming up” section on ctv.ca
You’re probably right.
I agree and that’s based not only on CTV’s simulcast success with CBS on Flashpoint but also that The Listener started filming almost 2 months after Flashpoint did. From the sources I’ve consulted, I believe The Listener has completed filming only 4 episodes and will continue production into November. This isn’t anything close to the torrid filming schedule Flashpoint had (including a 6-days a week shooting schedule).
Now the interesting thing is what if CBS renews Flashpoint and then NBC decides to schedule The Listener in the same timeslot as CBS selects for Flashpoint in 2009. CTV will have one interesting dilemma on its hands.
“Degrassi: The Next Generation, Tues., Oct. 7, 8 p.m., One-hour season premiere – moves to Sundays at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12”
It looks like this has changed. CTV seems to have the first half of the premiere now scheduled for Sunday, Oct 5th at 7:30pm. Presumably, the second half will be airing on the 12th. In the US, meantime, The N has the full hour-long premiere scheduled for Friday, Oct 10th.
