Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister down to final four

Final four make it through BOOT CAMP to battle for the title of Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister

On Wednesday, March 18 at 8 p.m., four candidates will square off in a competition of political knowledge, poise and determination on the third televised installment of CBC Television’s Emmy®-nominated show CANADA’S NEXT GREAT PRIME MINISTER. Alex Trebek hosts this year’s show, joined by panelists and former Canadian Prime Minister’s Kim Campbell, Joe Clark, Paul Martin and Brian Mulroney.

Ten semi-finalists participated in a grueling two-day boot camp in Toronto where they were put through the paces in a series of challenges testing their political mettle. They faced off against each other in a series of debates, mock Canada-US conflicts and staged media scrums. They were tested on their ability to think on their feet, communicate effectively to a variety of audiences and stand their ground on tough issues. Most importantly, candidates were judged on their ability to analyze, negotiate and convince the public to share their views.
