  1. This show was just ok.

A little cheesy for my tastes. If was not for the fact that it is set in St. John’s where I live I am not sure that I would like it.

Anyways I will keep watching and hope that that the acting improves and that I can actually start to like the main character, which right now I do not!

I thought that the father did a great job and liked Shaun Majunder in a more serious role.

And they really need to lose that “Oh Yeah” as it just seems to be trying to hard!

  2. Liked it! Maybe it felt somewhat slow. But that’s what also happened to “Corner Gas.” Then it picked up and was one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen.

  3. I wanted to like it, but it is just full of 70′-80’s clichees. Roof-top chase, boat-top chase, ins with the RNC, the “uniform didn’t fit” line, handy mugshots of everyone they’re looking for, the hero’s flagrant illegal behaviour (Kidnapping spraypaint boy), the hot dame… gotta have a hot dame.

I don’t care for any of the characters — the lead just comes across as a conceited jackass and no one else really evokes any empathy. THIS isn’t Wonderland, but I’ll give it time (will the CBC?)

And the “oh yeah,” I agree. That has to go.
