“I identify with these characters in the same way that I did with Da Vinci’s Inquest,” says Hawco of the long-running crime series that chronicled Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. “This is a show where you watch it and go ‘Well, that’s a town in my country.’ I think that’s why we sold it everywhere around the world — everywhere except the United States.” Read more.
