Wingin’ It Season 3 in production

From a media release:

Hit teen comedy series WINGIN’ IT starts principal photography on Season III

Temple Street Productions Inc. (Temple Street) and Astral’s Family Channel announced today that principal photography has begun on Season III of the popular teen live-action comedy series Wingin’ It. The third season continues with 10 new episodes that follow the misadventures of teenage odd couple – Carl Montclaire (Dylan Everett, How to be Indie) a typical teenager trying to survive high school and ‘Angel-in-Training’ Porter Jackson (Demetrius Joyette, The Latest Buzz) tries to earn his angel wings by making Carl the most popular guy in school.

Love is in the air for Season III, a season also packed with exciting plot twists, fun romantic entanglements and more angelic mayhem. Season III picks up the storyline with Jane Casey (Brittany Adams, The Latest Buzz), Carl’s best friend and inquisitive teen reporter, Carl, Porter and Denise (Kendra Timmins, Fiddler On The Roof) another Angel-in-Training, trying to sort out a complicated and often hilarious love triangle where Carl likes Jane but Jane likes Porter and Denise likes Carl. Angels shouldn’t date but what happens when Carl breaks the rules and Jane shadows Porter’s every move?

Joining this angelic cast are Brittany (Hannah Lochner, Life with Derek), Alex (Brian Alexander White) and Serge (Sebastian Hearn). Rounding out the cast of characters is Carl’s mom, Angela Montclaire (Jenn Robertson, Twitches, The Seán Cullen Show and Comedy Inc.) and little sister Becky Montclaire (Jamie Bloch, Flirty with Forty, The Best Years).

Also this season, more surprise guest stars join the gang at Bennett High and together with the cast, will showcase their musical talents.

On August 9, 2011, Entertainment One brings viewers their favourite angel-in-training with the complete first season of Wingin It’ on DVD.

Commissioned by Family Channel, Wingin’ It is produced by Temple Street Productions. The series was created by Frank van Keeken (The Kids in the Hall, Billable Hours) and is executive produced by Frank van Keeken, Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier (Being Erica, Billable Hours, Canada’s Next Top Model).
