Conveniently, there’s a new CBC show that is not just good, it is excellent. Michael: Tuesdays & Thursdays, a half-hour comedy created by Don McKellar and Bob Martin, follows the lives of Michael (Matt Walsh) and David (Bob Martin), the therapist he visits twice a week. Michael, who is beset by an array of phobias — the closing credits describe the series as “based on the neuroses of Matt Walsh†— has been seeing David for 15 years, over which time he has become at least functional, if still rather skittish.
