There is no Killing-style dreariness or uncertainty in Motive. Quite the opposite. Things move quickly, and the crime has a bow tied on it by Det. Flynn and her partner, Detective Oscar Vega (Louis Ferreira) each week. Lehman says the series’ non-linear twist “really pushes the story along so well.
