  1. So glad to see these shows being renewed for next year; CBC might not have a lot in programming, but what they do have is top-notch.

  2. Not that I can tell – if so, daytime and short-run reality series I don’t track anyway. What I said on Twitter was it sounds like everything’s renewed and no new ongoing series, with the caveat that more information could come.

  3. It appears as though The Big Decision may have been CBC’s only casualty. Will say, I’m a bit disappointed they aren’t adding another scripted drama but at least Arctic Air and Republic of Doyle made the cut!

  4. I’m glad CBC decided to just renew all 5 of their dramas rather than replacing any with a new one just for the sake of introing a new show. However, does this mean that CBC opted not to go with the drama Port Hope which had its pilot shot last year? Or is it just gonna be kept on the shelf temporarily? I heard that CBC was planning to air it with Heartland as part of a Sunday night family block but I’m guessing now that Battle of the Blades will be on instead Sundays before Heartland.

  5. No Arctic Air Eh? But we can look forward to another 139 straight years of Coronation Street. Who the hell watches that crap anyways?

  6. Why do all the shows that are a little different than the normal crap reality shows get cancelled. CBC might well cancel some of the news shows that repeat the same garbage over and over. Cracked was a good show.
