All Sochi, no sizzle for CBC’s new fall season
Wednesday morning, a group of journalists, photographers, CBC execs and what’s called “the talent†(actors, comedians and such) assembled at CBC HQ here in Toronna. Reason was CBC’s 2013-14 season preview event. It went on for hours and, when I departed, I still wasn’t sure exactly what CBC has in store for Canada in the upcoming TV season. Apart from the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Hockey Night in Canada and the return of Battle of the Blades. Which everybody knew about, anyway. Read more.
